A crowd of men and a few women reach toward a food-distribution truck with a metal railing under a thatched roof. A large orange banner on the truck shows a smiling man in an orange turban with a red bindi and orange garment; a printed caption reads Nithyananda in Tamil and English. Two workers in white head caps and one in orange clothing stand on the truck handing out food, and people hold steel bowls and plates. A man in a white shirt and a man in a red shirt printed with 'This is just the beginning!' are prominent in the foreground.

Two volunteers in green hairnets and one older man in orange robes stand behind a metal railing at a raised food stall, serving rice from pots to a crowd. Several people reach forward with hands and plates, including a man in a pink t-shirt reading "This is just the beginning!" and a man in a striped shirt. A large orange-and-white banner shows a smiling man with an orange turban and orange robes, presumably a portrait of the Swamiji, labelled with Tamil text.
