In the centre, a man in a saffron-orange robe with a shaved head and a tilak walks forward gesturing with one hand, flanked by a man in a saffron robe behind him. To his right, a bare-chested man in a red shawl and red dhoti carries a decorated kalasha pot with a green coconut-style top and garland. Around them, men in white dhotis and white shirts walk, one bare-chested man holds a bunch of bananas, and a few men wear rudraksha or beaded necklaces. The stone pavement and temple architecture set the scene.2009-08-11A photograph of a large, richly sculpted South Indian temple gopuram, its tiers covered in painted stucco figures of deities and celestial beings in blue, green, pink and cream. A stone gateway with a dark passage leads inward. In front, a group of about twenty men and a few women walk through the gateway; several wear white dhotis and shirts, while a central figure in an orange-saffron robe with a garland and a bare-chested man in a red-pink lower cloth are prominent. Some are barefoot. Small white barriers and a potted plant line the foreground, and trees and another temple tower appear beyond the gate.2009-08-11December 04 2006 - Karthikai Deepam, Tiruvannamalai2006-12-04August 06 20092009-08-06August 06 20092009-08-06August 01 2009 - Kalpataru, Thiruvanaikaval, India2009-08-01August 06 20092009-08-06December 04 2006 - Karthikai Deepam, Tiruvannamalai2006-12-04August 01 2009 - Kalpataru, Thiruvanaikaval, India2009-08-01August 01 2009 - Kalpataru, Thiruvanaikaval, India2009-08-01
