Press conference scene indoors with a row of microphones in front of the seated speakers. On the left, a person in a bright green sari with gold-bordered red trim, a white flower garland, gold earrings, a necklace and bangles speaks into a microphone, hands gesturing. On the right, a person in an orange-saffron robe with a rudraksha mala, a red-banded headpiece, arm bands and a gold-trimmed shawl sits with eyes closed on an ornate gold throne beside a pale yellow pillar. Several Tamil-language TV channel logos are visible on the microphones, and a red and gold flag hangs in the background. The seated figure on the throne has distinctive saffron and rudraksha cues, but the appearance is not conclusive enough to confirm an identity, so the figure is described by role only.

Beside him a person in a green sari with white jasmine garland and gold necklaces speaks into a microphone, smiling. Another woman in a red patterned shawl stands behind them. Numerous news microphones from TV channels, including Raj TV, Sun TV and Vasanth TV, crowd the table in front. Appearance-based cues on the seated man (swept hair, saffron wrap, rudraksha mala, ornate jewellery) are consistent with the page's a person mention, though identity remains uncertain from appearance alone.2012-05-15A photograph of a press interaction in a temple-style hall with a cream pillar and ornate blue doors.
