Dim night-time photograph of a small group seated on the ground near a sandy floor and a stepped platform. In the foreground, a woman in a white sari with a yellow border and yellow shoulder cloth reaches forward with bangled arms, hands together over an object held low between the group. Behind her, a person in an orange-red wrap sits upright beside another person in white, with a figure in a dark top at the left edge. Several people are partly visible, cropped at the edges. Activity suggests a ritual preparation, possibly the Navapashanam offering for consecrating a Linga, though the object itself is not clearly visible. Soft warm lighting dominates the scene.

A photograph taken at night of devotees preparing a ritual mixture in a large brass pot placed on the ground. A woman in a white sari with a gold border and an orange shawl kneels at left, stirring the grey-white contents with her hand while looking down into the vessel. Another woman in white and orange stands behind her reaching toward the pot, and a man in an orange shawl and white clothing sits at right near a camera bag. The setting appears to be an outdoor ritual area with dark sand or earth underfoot. The scene suggests a preparatory ritual with a pot of ash-like material, but no a person figure is clearly visible in the frame.

Night-time outdoor ritual at an open ground. In the foreground, a devotee in orange robes kneels beside a large drum, with another person in orange and a person in white helping strike or hold it. Around them, several women in white or orange garments sit on the ground, some with hair in ponytails and orange shawls. Behind them, a bright fire burns beside a white-draped platform with offerings and oil lamps, and more people in orange and white stand nearby. The scene suggests a fire ritual preparation.

Dim, grainy photo of a crowded indoor gathering. In the foreground a figure in an orange-brown shawl sits with their back to the camera, and a woman in a pale cream sari leans in toward another person, hands raised near their head as if giving a blessing or healing touch. Behind them, a person in a saffron-orange wrap stands among others in light clothing. At right, a table holds a small kalasha-like vessel, an open book, and offerings with a red cloth. Several people are visible, partially obscured by shadow.
