A photograph of a devotee in rust-red dhoti and wrap bowing forward to place white and yellow flowers with a red flower on a framed printed image set on a dark granite stand on muddy ground. He wears a heavy gold pendant necklace and a leopard-print cloth over his shoulder. Behind him, other people in matching red-orange robes with gold borders stand near concrete steps and a metal railing, with a small kalasha-like pot visible at the top edge.

A figure in orange robes and a white flower garland with a red-bead mala stands bowed over a small pit in the earth, holding a leafy branch overhead, while a second person in orange with long dark hair kneels at left holding a sprig of leaves. Two men stand at right: one in white dhoti and shirt with a tilak and rudraksha mala, the other in light grey shirt and trousers with a mala, hands pressed together. Colourful flower petals and yellow marigolds form a ring around the pit on a white kolam drawing; red bricks and a woven mat lie nearby. Several other people in white stand in the background.2010-02-15September 08 20152015-09-08A shaved-headed priest in a rust-red dhoti and shawl with gold borders crouches on a sandy, dug-out ground, pressing his hand into soil beside a small stone block decorated with yellow and white flowers and a red fruit or offering. Rudraksha beads hang on his arm and neck. Burning embers and a small fire glow at his side, and a white stone platform stands behind. A second person's legs are visible at the right edge. Consistent with a ritual foundation or sacred-site ceremony in an ashram setting.2013-04-24May 01 20122012-05-01
