Night photograph of a procession on bare ground. On the left, a large painted effigy of a fierce red-faced figure with a crown and a club sits on a purple-draped flatbed cart drawn by a wooden shaft. Several men in white dhotis and bare or white upper garments walk beside it, one in a white shirt and cream trousers carrying a large white bundle on his shoulder. On the right, women in orange and red saris play hand cymbals and drums while men in white dhotis with gold borders stand in a line. Floodlights glow in the dark background.
