Several young men splash and laugh while standing waist-deep in churning, muddy-brown river water, with water droplets spraying through the air. The foreground figure in an orange-red sleeveless top grins and leans forward, while a man in a black t-shirt in the centre is drenched and mid-splash. Others, some bare-chested, stand behind them in the water, all with wet short black hair.

A photograph of men bathing in a river, with water splashing up around them. Several men in the foreground are waist-deep in the murky water, mostly bare-chested and wearing shorts or white vests, some with rudraksha-style beads or thin cords around their necks, one raising his hands to his face. Behind them, a crowd of shirtless and shorts-clad men stands on the bank, including a man in a red shirt and another in a blue shirt, and one man in a striped cloth wrap. No clearly identifiable ceremonial figure is visible in the scene.2014-07-27A crowd of men bathes in a river, splashing water near stone steps and a blue structure. The swimmer on the right wears a black cap with a white band and has his head turned above the surface, arms stroking through spray. A second swimmer at the left edge, bare-shouldered with a dark cap, reaches forward. The water is turbulent and milky with splashing whitecaps. No ritual setting or identifiable individual is evident, and the scene appears to be a river swim.2014-07-27July 27 20142014-07-27June 04 20162016-06-04A crowd of shirtless men bathes in a churning spray of white water, several laughing and shielding their faces from the splashes. Behind them, others in colourful striped wraps and a blue shirt watch and stand at the water's edge.
