April 10 20162016-04-10A procession of devotees in saffron and white ritual dress walks along a paved path outside a building. At centre, a man in a rust-red robe wears a long multi-strand garland of white and red flowers, a gold pendant on a beaded necklace, and a dark rudraksha-style mala; the bare-chested figure has distinctive long swept-back hair and gold armbands. Flanking him, a man in orange with a white turban holds a ceremonial staff, and a figure in orange with a flower-decorated pot at chest height walks beside him. Other devotees in white dhotis with gold borders, orange shawls and white vibhuti marks follow, one drummer partly visible, and a white car is parked behind. Hanging green leaf strings decorate the entrance above.2016-04-10April 10 20162016-04-10March 10 20132013-03-10December 12 20112011-12-12October 29 20142014-10-29November 26 20142014-11-26December 26 20102010-12-26April 30 20132013-04-30August 17 20142014-08-17June 21 20142014-06-21 +1 copiesA procession on a paved path with palm trees behind. A central figure with long swept-back hair, a leopard-print garment, a long red-pink flower garland, layered gold necklaces and a white forehead mark walks barefoot in the middle. Flanking him, men in orange-red dhotis with bare torsos and white vibhuti markings carry tall yellow-and-red decorated poles topped with ornate canopies. Men in white dhotis and white shawls walk among them, and women in white and orange-bordered saris stand at the right with palms pressed together. A camera operator in white stands at the left edge filming. The scene reads as a ceremonial procession, with rose petals scattered on the ground.2013-03-10
