Exterior photo of a South Indian temple gopuram covered in tiered rows of painted stucco sculptures, with a white signboard across the entrance reading the temple name in Tamil and English. Below, a doorway opens into a dark interior. Several saffron-robed sadhus walk out of the entrance; the foreground sadhu in front wears a saffron robe and a beaded necklace, and a second saffron-clad figure walks beside him. A man in a white kurta stands at left, a man in a blue shirt walks at far left, and a woman in a teal sari stands at right. A red bundle sits on the steps and a small road sign is mounted on the wall at right.

Photograph of the ornate pale stone gopuram of the Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam Sri Kamakshi Ambal temple, its tiers covered in carved sculptures under a clear blue sky. A banner across the entrance reads in Tamil and English that this is the Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam Sri Kamakshi Ambal temple, Mokshapuri Kanchi Divya Kshetram. Below, several people walk out of the dark-grey stone doorway: a bearded older man in white with a red-and-gold shawl and a tilak on his forehead in the foreground, a man in an orange-saffron robe with a pink shawl and rudraksha mala near the centre, a woman in white and orange, and men in white shirts and dhotis. A printed portrait of a bearded man stands beside the entrance. Pink sculpted guardian figures flank the doorway.

Two more men in white and a figure in a lighter shirt are partly visible at the frame edges. Overhead, power lines cross the sky. A dark plaque is mounted on the gateway wall to the right.

A photograph of a large white gopuram temple tower with painted sculptural deities on its tiers, set in a stone-paved courtyard with a hillside behind. A procession of men in white dhotis and shirts moves through the foreground; a figure at right wears a saffron-orange shawl over a gold-and-orange garment with bare upper body and long hair, and another man in the group wears an orange shawl over white clothes. Devotees are visible at the temple gateway and steps. A signboard with text stands at left. Whether the figure at right is a person cannot be determined from appearance, so the a person field is unsure.

A colourful gopuram temple tower with tiers of painted deity sculptures rises above a green-walled temple entrance. Crowds stream out through the doorway in daylight. In the foreground, two shaved-headed men in saffron-orange robes with orange shoulder cloths and rudraksha malas walk forward smiling, one holding a garland. Behind them a man in white dhoti and shirt and a man in a dark blue shirt move among devotees, and a woman in white with a yellow sash and tilak stands at left. A grey car is at lower right, and roadside stalls with red garlands sit to the right of the gate.

Photo of a carved, tiered gopuram temple tower of the Kanchi Kamakshi Ambal temple, its pale stone covered in sculpted figures, with a blue sky behind. A banner across the gateway reads Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam Sri Kamakshi Ambal, with Tamil text above it. Beneath the gate, a crowd in white and saffron moves out; in front, a man in an orange turban and saffron wrap over a magenta shawl, with rudraksha beads, stands at centre. Nearby a woman in white with an orange shawl holds an object, a man in white and orange walks beside, and another man in orange stands to the right. A portrait banner hangs inside the gateway. Photograph of a group walking across a stone-paved courtyard at a Hindu temple complex. In front, several men wear saffron-orange robes and rudraksha malas, walking in a line; the foremost wears an orange garment with beads. Among them a figure with long dark hair and orange dress walks at the front-centre. Other people in white dhotis and shirts, women in saris and a child stroll around them. Behind is a large gopuram tower with white sculpted figures, a smaller colourful shrine, a stone pillared pavilion, and a banner with printed Tamil text on a wall. Several people are visible in the scene.
