A large tented hall hosts a musical performance on a raised stage draped in blue and green cloth. Musicians sit cross-legged, including a seated figure in an orange and red outfit playing a tabla-like drum and a performer in an orange shawl. A large banner behind the stage shows a smiling figure in an orange turban and saffron robe above the words Nithyanandeshvara Devalaya Brahmotsava 2010. Hundreds of seated devotees, many in white clothes and some in pink, orange and blue saris, fill the floor facing the stage. Colourful festoon banners hang along the right wall beneath the white fabric ceiling.
