February 09 20132013-02-09Photograph in an orange-walled room with three framed pictures on the back wall. A man in a pink knitted beanie and pink sweater, with an orange shawl over his shoulders, leans in and embraces a man with long swept-back dark hair, a white tilak on his forehead, gold earrings, layered gold and black beaded necklaces, and a bare chest under an orange shawl; he lowers his head as the other man's hands rest on his shoulders. A cameraperson with a camera stands at left, and a brass plate of marigold flowers appears at the right edge. The taller figure's distinctive hair, ornate necklaces and orange shawl are consistent with the page's a person reference, so the appearance-based label is probable; the shawl and garlands are present, but the appearance is not fully certain.2013-02-09A photo in a red-walled room of a man with long dark swept-back hair, a white vertical tilak on his forehead, a gold ornate necklace, a saffron-orange shawl and a gold-beaded rudraksha-style neck garland, smiling as he receives a wooden gift box tied with a red ribbon from a man in pink knit cap and orange robe. A man in a grey shirt with an ID badge behind pours from a small pot, and a tray holds marigold garlands, a brass lamp and a dish. An ornate gold-and-red throne chair stands behind them. The man in the centre with the long hair and distinctive gold adornments is a probable Swamiji (probable) receiving an offering from a devotee in orange robe.2013-02-09Two men sit on a low cushioned seat against an orange-painted wall, with three framed pictures above them: two show temple buildings and a saint in saffron, and the centre one shows a blue-skinned deity with a flute. The man on the left wears a pink top, orange wrap and a beaded mala, and smiles while talking. The man on the right wears an orange-brown wrap, a layered gold necklace with a large pendant, and white-marked forehead with a red dot, and smiles broadly while gesturing. Red patterned cushions and a rug lie beneath them, and a person in grey stands at the right edge of the frame.2013-02-09 +1 copiesFebruary 09 20132013-02-09 +1 copiesA photograph in an orange-walled room. At right, a bald man in orange robes and a pink knitted cap holds marigold flowers, and another man in a pink cap stands at the far right edge. The man on the left, bare-chested with an orange-brown dhoti and shawl, wears a heavy gold necklace with large gold beads and smiles broadly, with white and red tilak marks on his forehead. The man on the right, wearing an orange cap, orange robe and orange shawl, bows with palms pressed together in namaste while holding a black ritual kalasha-like pot. Swamiji (probable) appears as the bare-chested man with the gold necklace, given the long swept-back hair and ornate gold adornments and the page's reference to him.2013-02-09
