A figure in long wavy hair and an orange saffron robe stands barefoot with hands joined in front of a large black stone bull murti decorated with a white and yellow flower garland, positioned on a white stepped plinth. A small brass kalasha sits on the ground ahead. Nearby, a woman in white with a yellow shawl sits cross-legged beside a fire pit with flames, while two men in white clothing tend the blaze. Smoke drifts across the scene, consistent with a homa or fire ritual.2010-07-11Outdoor photo of a homa/yagna ceremony in a temple courtyard with stone deity sculptures and a white plinth. A central figure in saffron-orange robes, rudraksha mala and bare feet sits cross-legged with hands folded at a smoking fire pit, with a brass kalasha-style vessel beside it. Around them, several devotees in white garments with yellow shawls sit in meditation or ritual posture on raised platforms, and a young man in white kneels to the right near a brass bowl. A small figure on the far left holds a brass cymbal-like instrument. The smoke and offerings suggest a fire ritual. Garlands of flowers decorate a black stone lingam at the right edge. Eight people are visible in total, the central figure being the most prominent. Appearance-based cues on the central figure (long swept-back hair, saffron robes, rudraksha mala) suggest Swamiji (probable).2010-06-13Outdoor temple courtyard at dusk with palm trees and a pale sky.
