A shadow puppet performance on a lit white cloth screen in a dark room. Several colourful painted leather-style puppets stand in a row: a pink-faced figure in a gold-trimmed tunic, a red-faced figure in a yellow and green outfit, and a red figure in a blue garment with a headdress. Their shadows fall upward on the screen, with a tall figure wearing a long necklace and holding an object at the top. A pale figure in profile lies at the lower left. No physical people are visible, and the scene is a shadow puppetry show shown as a photograph.
