Aerial view of a riverside ghat beside a fast-flowing river with brown dry grass and hills behind. On the marble platform, a group of people sits in an arc around a small fire pit with a brass vessel. Several seated figures wear orange and saffron robes, while others wear white. A large golden parasol with a fringe shades the central seated group. A man in white stands at the left edge near the steps, and another person in white sits at the bottom right beside offering trays and a small box. A sandstone chhatri-style pavilion stands in the foreground. The scene appears to be a homa or puja performed at the Ganga ghat.
