Outdoor Rudra Abhishekam on red-painted stone steps lined with black Shivalingam stones, each topped with a small brass pot. Many seated participants in saffron, orange and rust-red robes and white dress perform the ritual, some with hands joined in prayer, others holding brass vessels. A woman in white with a shawl sits near the centre, and a woman in orange at right holds her palms together. Tall red-and-white flagpoles, a loudspeaker on a pole, and a chain-link fence frame the scene against a pale sky.
