January 08 20062006-01-08Outdoor photo at the Triveni Sangam riverbank, with a group seated on a concrete ghat above flowing water. In the centre, a woman in a saffron-orange sari sits beside a brass or copper vessel set on the ground, as a man in white kurta stands near her. A seated man in white clothes sits in the foreground, and a man in a light jacket sits at the right beside a printed banner. Other people in white, red and dark clothing sit or stand along the ghat, and a row of spectators is visible on the far bank. No one in the scene is identified as a person by appearance, so no candidate is marked. The ritual setting suggests a puja at the confluence, though the exact rite is not clearly visible.2006-01-08January 08 20062006-01-08January 08 20062006-01-08January 08 20062006-01-08Photograph at the riverbank of the Triveni Sangam, where the confluence waters shimmer in sunlight.
