Most men and women wear white ritual clothing, and several carry folded hands in namaskar. In the centre, a woman in an orange-saffron sari with a garland and beaded necklace walks with folded hands, and a bearded man in white with a white headband walks beside her. Behind them, more participants in white follow along the path, with a few people in orange or saffron. The scene reads as a padayatra-style procession on the road toward the ashram.2005-12-31Outdoor procession on a dirt path through dry grass and palm trees in late light. Many people in plain white clothing walk in a crowd; many wear red and orange-beaded necklaces. Several tall poles carry bright orange flags, and ornate red-and-gold umbrellas or canopies with white fringe rise above the crowd. Some participants fold their hands in prayer, and a woman in the foreground wears a white sari with red garlands. A man at right holds a decorated ceremonial item. The scene reads as a devotional procession.2005-01-01December 27 20092009-12-27January 13 20152015-01-13December 27 20082008-12-27December 24 20082008-12-24December 27 20092009-12-27December 25 20082008-12-25
