A man in an orange-red turban with a crescent ornament, a white flower garland and rudraksha beads, bare-shouldered in rust-orange cloth, places his right hand on the forehead of a devotee in a white kurta with a rudraksha mala. A woman in an orange-red sari and a rudraksha necklace stands behind, with a tilak on her forehead. Gold-embroidered red and maroon cloth hangs in the background, and a brass vessel is visible at lower left. Several onlookers stand behind. The orange-clad figure with turban and garland is a person by his distinctive turban, rudraksha and garland, performing a darshan blessing on a devotee.2018-04-24A seated figure in a rust-red turban and rust-red and gold draped robe rests a hand on the forehead of a kneeling devotee in white. The devotee has dark swept-back hair, a sandalwood or vibhuti mark on the forehead, a rudraksha mala, folded hands in anjali, a gold wristwatch and a gold-bordered white dhoti and shawl. Behind the seated figure a gold ornate throne with a red velvet cushion is visible, and a red drape hangs in the background. A photographer with a camera stands at the upper right. The scene appears to be a blessing or darshan moment. Visible evidence suggests the seated figure may be a person, though this is uncertain from appearance alone.2015-10-25May 07 20142014-05-07April 24 20182018-04-24 +1 copies
