A night-time photograph of a fireworks display in an open sandy ground. Bright white and yellow sparks cascade downward from a horizontal line of bright flares beneath a dense cloud of white smoke. Bamboo poles and strung bunting in red and white frame the scene. On the left, a man in a white dhoti and shirt stands near a pole, and a dark silhouette of a person's head and shoulder sits in the lower-left foreground. Scattered debris covers the ground.
