A stage darshan line in a theatre hall with a banner reading Sir M. Venkatasubba Rao Concert Hall above a draped maroon and gold curtain. Many devotees stand in a long line in white dhotis, mundus and saris, with some in green, blue and pink. In the centre, a figure in white stands at a richly decorated seat draped in red and gold, with a garland-hung backdrop of marigold strings and small lamps. A single person leans toward the seat to receive the line. Audience members sit in the foreground dark seats.

A seated figure in red and orange robes sits on an ornate gold-and-red throne at centre stage, in front of a backdrop of hanging orange and gold drapes decorated with marigold-style garlands. A line of about 20 people in white and cream clothes, several women in saris, stands in a semicircle before the throne, some with hands folded or offering items. Dark red curtains and gold valance frame the stage, and an audience sits in rows of seats in the foreground. A small framed portrait hangs at the left side of the stage. The page identifies the event as a Kalpataru darshan, but the seated figure's appearance is not clear enough to identify a candidate.2009-02-14February 14 2009 -Kalpataru Convention at Chennai Tamilnadu2009-02-14A stage in a concert hall with a dark red curtain drape edged in gold, and a hanging backdrop of orange and yellow fabric decorated with garlands.
