A night photograph of a Karthikai Deepam setting. A raised stone platform in the centre holds a tall dark cylindrical structure, possibly a pillar or lamp stand, lit by small oil lamps. Rows of small flame lamps outline the paved ground and the edges of a wide walkway stretching into darkness, with two bright floodlights on either side. No people are visible in the frame. The sky is black.
