A night photograph of a large outdoor Shiva lingam on a raised stone base, surrounded by rows of small oil lamps lining the edges of a stepped stone platform and the ground. Bright floodlights illuminate the area from both sides against a dark background. Scattered rubble and puddles reflect the lights. No people are visible. The scene appears to be a Karthikai Deepam lamp-lighting at a Shiva shrine.
