Nithyanandapedia
A photograph at a Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam event in Tiruvannamalai. A man with long dark hair, wearing a saffron-orange robe and a dark rudraksha mala, stands at center with his right hand extended open, facing a man in white on the left. A brass oil lamp with a tall stem sits on a white-draped table in front of a banner showing a moonlit hill and rows of white-clad people, with a portrait on the banner. A man in grey-haired profile stands at the right edge. The person in orange shows long swept-back hair and a rudraksha mala, a person by these cues. Two other people in view, one in white and one partly visible. A red-and-gold Rotary-style banner with Tamil text hangs at right.

A young man with long dark hair, wearing an orange robe and a black beaded mala, stands with hands gesturing beside a brass oil lamp (kuthu vilakku) on a white-draped table with red petals on its tray. A second man in an orange shirt and orange shawl adjusts the lamp. Behind them a banner shows a black-and-white portrait and a mountain at night, with a crowd in white garments; other banners read Nithya Dhyanam with yoga figures and Rotary Club of Tiruvannamalai. Probable Swamiji cues: long swept-back hair, orange robe and black beaded mala on the standing man, whose appearance is consistent with that candidate.2008-08-03A long-haired man in saffron-orange robes and a dark rudraksha mala stands at left, with a vertical tilak on his forehead, beside another saffron-robed man with a tilak. A third man in a white shirt and dark trousers stands behind a table holding a paper. At right, a man in cream clothing lights a tall brass oil lamp with several flames, set on a brass tray of pink flower petals. Behind them a banner shows a night scene with a full moon over a hill and a crowd, with Tamil text on a red poster. The setting appears to be an indoor event with other people at the edges.2008-08-03August 03 20082008-08-03A photograph of a man in a sleeveless orange robe with a black-patterned shawl stands at a brass oil lamp (kuthuvilakku) lit with a flame, resting his hands near its base on a white-draped table. The lamp sits on a brass tray scattered with pink flower petals. He has long, dark, wavy hair and a white vibhuti mark on his forehead. Behind him a banner shows a black-and-white photograph of a large seated gathering of white-clad people, and a portrait of a smiling man with long hair is visible at left. To the left stands a man in glasses and a pale yellow shirt with an ID badge, and another man in white stands further back. A Tamil banner at upper right reads ஸ்ரீ ஜெயேந்திர and இலவச ஆ. Swamiji (probable): the man at the lamp has long swept-back hair, a saffron robe and a rudraksha-style shawl, so he is identified by these cues as a probable candidate for Swamiji.2008-08-03A photograph of an event stage backdrop reading Tamil text for Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam with Thiruvannamalai below it, over a painted hill and a full moon. Beneath a multicoloured bunting valance, a long-haired man in an orange shawl and a red forehead mark stands centrally, smiling, with a few devotees and attendees in white and orange in the foreground, partly turned away. Visible people number about six.2008-10-19A photograph of a thatched-roof pavilion event with a long-haired figure seated on a raised white cushion, wearing a saffron-orange robe and a dark rudraksha mala, with hands folded near the chest. Around them, men in white shirts and white dhotis and saffron shawls stand and kneel, some with palms pressed together. Men in white and cream shirts sit on white plastic chairs in the foreground, and a striped woven mat covers the floor. Banners and a board behind them show Tamil text and a black backdrop with a moon motif. A cluster of figures stands near a microphone stand, and additional seated people line the right side.2008-08-03August 03 20082008-08-03A photograph at an indoor event where a long-haired figure in a saffron-orange sleeveless robe with a rudraksha mala and a white vertical forehead mark stands with palms pressed together before a tall brass oil lamp with several lit wicks. Behind him, a second saffron-robed man with a white forehead mark stands beside a man in a white shirt. On the right, a man in a cream shirt with glasses holds his hand toward the lamp, which sits on a tray of pink flower petals on a white-draped table. Behind them, a black-and-white photo of a mountain and a crowd hangs on a dark backdrop, with red-and-yellow banners reading Rotary and Tiruvannamalai nearby, and a camera operator is visible at the top left.2008-08-03December 13 20072007-12-13
