Four men in white dhotis with gold borders and white upper cloths stand and kneel around it; one kneeling man in a white shirt works at the base of the frame, and another on the right holds a bundle of white cloth. The man on the left wears a brown rudraksha mala. A small green sign stands at the left edge.2011-08-28 +1 copiesOutdoor photo of a bhoomi puja on a grassy field with scrubby bushes behind. A figure with long, swept-back dark hair and a rudraksha mala, wearing an orange robe, bends over a silver plate of offerings with small lamps and flowers on the grass, pouring or placing something. Behind them, a row of women and girls in white and orange garments with orange shawls stand with hands folded in anjali or watch. a person: the standing figure has long swept-back hair, an orange robe and a rudraksha mala, a presentation consistent with the page's claim, but the face and details are not distinct enough for certainty. Around him a loose group of people in mostly white clothing stand and watch, some in white kurtas, one in a bright green kurta, one with a saffron-orange cloth draped over the shoulder, and several men wearing yellow lanyards. More people sit in rows in the background on the left, dressed in white. A scattered handful of objects lies on the ground, and a shadow of the photographer falls across the foreground.2009-12-19April 01 20082008-04-01A photograph of an outdoor ritual at a stone mortar. A young man with long dark hair and bare chest, wearing an orange saffron dhoti and shawl, grips a tall wooden pestle and presses it into a stone mortar on the sandy ground. Around him, several onlookers stand: a man in a white kurta and dark-rimmed glasses with a black rudraksha-style necklace holds a metal plate, a bald man in a grey t-shirt and trousers watches, a woman with short red hair wears a white wrap, and another man in white stands in the background. An older bare-chested man with white moustache wears a white dhoti at right. Scattered white cloth scraps, leaves and a small bowl lie on the ground near shrubs and trees, with a few stones and a red plastic chair behind.2004-12-31
