A seated figure in an orange-red turban and bare-shouldered orange-red garment, wearing gold bangles and a gold necklace, extends a hand in blessing onto the head of a young man kneeling in front of him. The kneeling man wears an orange kurta over grey undershirt and holds a banana. Behind them a woman in white sari and rudraksha-style necklace stands with a hand raised, and a gold ornamental throne-side with garlands of yellow and red flowers frames the scene. A tray of bananas sits in the foreground beside a gold kalasha-like object on a red cushioned seat, with a carpet and a standing fan in the background.
