A small red floating lamp with a lit flame drifts on dark, rippling river water at dusk, shot low with a shallow depth of field so the blurred waves fill the frame. The lamp is an offering set adrift on the Ganga, with its flame and reflection glowing against the grey water. No people are visible in the scene.

A man stands on a pebbled riverbank at dusk, holding a lit oil lamp aloft in his right hand while his left hand is folded near his chest. He wears a rust-red dhoti with a gold-trimmed waist sash, a matching reddish shawl across his bare shoulders, a rudraksha mala, and white sacred markings on his forehead and arms. Behind him the wide grey river flows past rocks and distant hills under a pale evening sky. Two small figures in white are seated or standing far off along the shore.

Dusk on a rocky riverbank, with a wide river and low hills behind. A single figure stands at the water's edge in a long red-maroon garment, one arm raised high holding a lit flame or torch. Pebbles and stones cover the foreground, and dark tree line lies across the far bank. The figure is distant and not clearly identifiable, so no a person candidate is confirmed from appearance.

Dusk view over dark rippling water with a small lit oil lamp or diya floating on the surface, its flame reflecting in streaks across the water. Blurred dark silhouettes of heads appear at the bottom edge of the frame, partly visible. The scene suggests a riverside offering at a ghat.

A figure in a reddish-maroon dhoti and shawl with gold borders stands barefoot on a pebbled riverbank at dusk, holding a lit oil lamp in both cupped hands above the water of a wide river. A small floating flower offering rests on the stones at lower left, and dark trees line the far bank under a blue evening sky. The figure has a shaved head and sacred markings on the arms. Appearance cues are only partly visible; the person is a priest performing a river-side lamp offering.

Dusk on a pebbled riverbank beside a wide, calm river with forested hills behind. A figure in a long orange-red robe stands near the water holding a small lit lamp or flame at chest height. In the foreground, a girl with a long braid, wearing a white patterned outfit, raises her hands in a gesture of worship toward the river. A second, smaller figure in reddish clothing stands further left near the shore. Small offerings lie scattered among the stones. The scene is bluish with fading daylight.

Dusk photograph at a riverbank with dark water and wooded hills beyond. A single man stands on smooth stones at the water's edge, wearing a reddish-brown robe with a fold wrapped at the waist and a rudraksha mala around his neck. He holds his hands together near his chest while a lit flame rests on top of his shaved head. A small floral offering sits on the stones nearby. The scene appears to be a ritual at a ghat, with the flame as the main focus against the dim blue water.
