A photograph of four life-sized wooden figures lying on cloths on a sand-covered floor against a pale concrete wall. Each figure has a dark, weathered wooden body with jointed limbs and rounded feet, lying in a relaxed pose. The first figure rests on a dark navy cloth, while the other three lie on white and paisley-patterned cloths. A bare foot of a person is visible at the top right corner. No living people are clearly shown in the scene.

Three dark bronze Nataraja-style dancing Shiva figures lie on the sandy ground in front of a plain grey breeze-block wall. Each statue rests on a different cloth: a navy blue cloth on the left, a white cloth in the centre, and a white cloth with a paisley pattern in blue, green and orange on the right. Each figure has multiple arms, raised legs and a flame in one hand, shown in a dynamic dancing pose. No people are visible.

Overhead photo of three unfinished metal figures being cast or finished on a stone floor, each set in a shallow sand or clay mould. The figures are dull bronze-coloured standing deities, with the central one holding a long staff or weapon, and bottom stubs of metal still attached. A bare-footed craftsman in a blue and white checked lungi sits at lower left, with a pair of sandals visible at right and a round metal bowl of liquid at top. Dust and sand scatter the floor.

A photograph of a multi-armed deity murti lying on a cream cloth on a wooden table against a grey concrete block wall. The bronze-coloured figure has many arms holding a trident-like staff and other implements, with a crown-like headdress, a broad ornamental belt and jewelled armbands. Terracotta bricks sit beside it, and a blue pot is at upper right. The figure appears to be a statue being handled or prepared, with no people visible.

A large brown wooden multi-armed deity murti stands in a workshop, partly unfinished with raw wood sections and tool-marked surfaces. The figure has a crown with pointed spires, several raised arms holding objects, and an ornate torso with a red tilak mark on the forehead. Beside it stand smaller carved figures and wooden pieces, with a yellow wall, a framed picture and stacked planks in the background.

A photograph of a long row of dark brown-black wooden deity murti figures lying horizontally on a pink-and-white striped cloth, with their heads and feet extending off the frame, possibly carved wooden statues or palanquin-style figures. Several men in white shirts and trousers stand along the right wall, looking down at the figures, with a wall of concrete blocks and pipes behind them. In the background, more people in white clothing stand and sit near a parked car under bright ceiling lights, with stanchions and a rope barrier in the foreground.

A photograph of metal deity statues laid out on a paved floor during repair or restoration. Several gilded and dark-patinated bronze figures lie on their backs and sides, including a standing figure with raised arms and a female figure with a long sash. Hollow cylindrical bases and pedestals sit between them, and wooden blocks and red-painted stands are visible at the edges. No people are visible in the frame.
