A photograph of a shaved-headed priest in saffron-orange robes kneeling before a richly decorated deity murti. He wears a gold-toned necklace and bangles and holds his hands together in front of a brass plate holding a lit wick and offerings. The murti is draped in thick garlands of red, yellow and white flowers and wears silver ornaments and an orange cloth. Brass vessels, a small oil lamp and a white cloth sit on a wooden platform in the foreground, and a red cloth covers the altar base. The scene suggests a puja in progress, lit warmly in the evening. The priest is not shown with long hair, a crown or rudraksha malas, so his identity is uncertain.

A photograph of a temple ritual in progress. A person with long, swept-back dark hair and an orange sleeveless garment with an orange shawl stands at left, holding a brass bell in one hand and a brass lamp with a bright flame in the other. In front of them is a dark stone shivalinga topped with white abhishekam offerings, set beside a gold-coloured deity murti adorned with red stones, a crown and yellow and white flower garlands. Red and gold draped cloth covers the altar behind. The orange-clad figure has distinctive long hair, saffron clothing and a shawl, consistent with a probable Swamiji identification, and performs the puja.
