Outdoor photo beneath large banyan trees at an ashram shrine. A golden deity murti seated on a red-draped platform is garlanded with multicolour flower garlands and set within a white arched frame. A man in saffron/orange robes with long dark hair, a white floral garland and beaded necklaces holds a lit oil lamp or aarti flame toward the murti. Beside him, another saffron-robed person with a beaded necklace holds offerings. A camera operator is visible at the right edge, and a white-clad figure stands at the far right. The ground has white kolam-style patterns and a dark stone slab in front of the shrine.

December 23 20092009-12-23Outdoor photo beneath a large banyan tree showing a golden deity murti seated on a raised red-powder mound inside a white arched shrine frame, garlanded with marigold and multicoloured flower strings. A standing man in orange robes with a long white garland holds a brass bell and ritual lamp, smiling toward the murti during puja. Behind him a second person in orange stands with hands together, and a camera operator with a video camera is at the right edge. Sandy ground, white-painted stone base, rangoli-style patterns and a black stone platform surround the shrine. Appearance is consistent with a person in saffron robes with long hair and rudraksha-style garland, performing worship as presiding priest.2009-12-23December 28 20082008-12-28December 23 20092009-12-23December 28 20082008-12-28January 01 20122012-01-01January 01 20122012-01-01December 24 20092009-12-24December 29 20092009-12-29December 28 20082008-12-28Outdoor temple scene under large banyan trees. A figure in saffron-orange robes with a long shawl and a garland of white flowers stands at a shrine, raising a lit lamp and ringing a handbell before a deity murti decorated with garlands in red, orange and yellow. Several saffron-clad men with rudraksha malas stand to the right; one holds a brass trident and another a plate of flowers. The ground is red earth with a dark polished floor reflecting the shrine. This matches the photo of a puja at a shrine with a lamp and bell.2008-12-26 +1 copiesDecember 24 20082008-12-24
