Behind them stand decorated deity murti with gold necklaces and draped garlands in green and magenta cloth, with greenery and a white candle-like stand in the foreground. The seated figure's appearance matches a person through long swept hair, saffron clothing and a rudraksha-style cord; his act is blessing the visitor by touching his forehead at a darshan.2014-12-28December 24 20142014-12-24A seated man with long swept-back dark hair, wearing a rust-orange wrap, a multi-strand rudraksha mala and a gold ceremonial necklace, reaches out to touch the forehead of an older devotee. The devotee wears a white dhoti with a gold border, a red shawl printed with Sanskrit script, and has a sandalwood tilak with hands joined in namaskar. Behind them, a golden throne back and garlanded deity murti with gold ornaments and a kalasha-like tall stick form the setting. Swamiji (probable): the seated man shows long swept-back hair, distinctive adornments and red ceremonial clothing, so this is a probable Swamiji blessing a devotee.2014-12-26A photograph of a seated figure with long dark swept-back hair, wearing a rust-red wrap, a rudraksha mala and a gold necklace, reaching out to touch the forehead of a kneeling man in a white shirt and red-and-maroon shawl. A woman in yellow sits in the background.2014-12-24December 24 20142014-12-24A seated man in a red robe and long swept-up black hair, wearing a red rudraksha-style mala and a red wrap, reaches out to touch the forehead of a kneeling man in a cream kurta with a red shawl. The seated figure sits on an ornate silver-and-gold throne in front of a decorated deity murti garlanded with orange flowers. Behind them, other devotees in red and orange shawls watch. A wooden tray or box sits nearby. The seated man is a person by appearance cues: swept-up hair, red ceremonial robe, and beaded mala, while the kneeling man is a devotee receiving blessing.2015-12-26A seated figure in a rust-red garment and a dark rudraksha-style mala with long, swept-back dark hair touches the forehead of a bald, white-bearded man kneeling before him with palms pressed together in anjali. The kneeling man wears a white dhoti-style cloth over his shoulder and a red shawl with a lanyard badge. The seated figure sits on an ornate gold throne with a silver staff beside him. Behind them are gold and red garlands, a brass bowl with fruit and a kalasha-like offering, and draped magenta and red fabrics. This appears to be a blessing or darshan moment.2014-12-28A photograph of a seated man on an ornate gold throne with a red cushioned back, wearing an orange-saffron shawl over bare shoulders and a long rudraksha-style bead necklace with a gold-toned ceremonial pendant. He has long swept-back dark hair and a tilak-like mark on his forehead and is smiling as he places his right hand on the forehead of a shaved-headed man in white ritual clothing with an orange shawl. Behind them, two men in white dhoti and shirt wear orange shawls and lanyards, and a video camera operator is visible at top center. A brass oil lamp, a small potted plant and a dark red draped backdrop are in the setting. The seated man's appearance matches the page's Swamiji reference through several cues (long swept-back hair, ornate gold throne, saffron shawl, bead necklace), so this is a probable Swamiji in an act of blessing a devotee. Five or more people are visible including partially visible figures.2015-07-19A photo of a ritual blessing in a decorated hall. The devotee has his hands raised near his face. Behind them stand ornate gold and beaded necklaces draped over a magenta cloth, a golden throne-like chair at left, potted greenery, and a standing person in white and orange. The blessing or darshan is taking place in a temple-like hall. Hair, ash marks on the forehead, and clothing suggest a person figure giving blessing, with the devotee receiving darshan.2014-12-26
