Outdoor village scene on dusty ground beside a white building with red base and a banner depicting a saffron-robed figure with long hair, flanked by a banana tree and palm fronds. A line of women in colourful saris, including blue, white with orange border and orange-red, walk in procession, some carrying brass vessels or trays on their heads. Children watch from the left, and a dug pit lies in the foreground. Trees and open field stand behind.

Several women in saris, including a woman in a red and orange sari holding a steel bowl and another in a turquoise top, press forward to receive food or supplies, while a woman in a blue patterned sari and an older woman in a pink blouse stand nearby. A young child on a hip wears a purple top, another child in a white top stands at right, and a man in a pink shirt and checked lungi stands at the left edge. Painted Telugu-script lettering is visible on the house wall, and the scene suggests an annadaan food distribution in a village.2012-01-06Outdoor photo at a rural medical camp in shade under a large tree beside a single-storey cream concrete building with barred windows. A crowd of villagers waits in a courtyard and on a raised verandah. Several women wear saris in bright yellow, purple, blue and pink, and a few men wear white dhotis and shirts. A small child in orange stands near the centre. A white placard leans against the wall at left, and a man in a white shirt and dhoti stands in the foreground. Many seated people are visible along the verandah.
