A woman in an orange sari stands at the left edge facing the line. On the right, a man in white with an orange shawl and a dark shoulder bag stands near a colourful multi-tasselled ceremonial umbrella with a red, green and blue canopy. Festive orange and white bunting strings across the background hillside, with banana plants and buildings nearby.2008-07-27Outdoor scene on dry, bare ground with scattered leaves and a few small plants, a stone wall and palm trees behind. A man with long dark hair, wearing an orange-saffron dhoti and upper cloth with a long rudraksha mala, walks barefoot at the centre-right, with distinctive long swept hair and saffron clothing. Beside him, a woman in an orange sari with a red border walks in the foreground. Around them, a group of about twenty people stands and walks in loose formation: a man in white shirt and trousers, girls in casual dress, and a man in white dhoti with gold-trimmed border holding a tablet-like device at right. Many people wear beaded necklaces and walk barefoot. A sense of an organized outdoor walk or planting site.2012-04-02Photo 11744646September 28-29 2006 - Kodikkan Ratha YatraA line of women and girls walks along a dirt path beside a tall red brick wall under trees, each carrying a brass kalasha pot decorated with fresh flowers and green leaves. Several wear saffron-orange saris and others wear white saris with gold borders, with rudraksha malas and garlands visible. Behind them, a larger group of people in white and orange clothing stands further along the path, and a red flag appears at left. The scene suggests a ceremonial procession of offerings.2016-07-19A photograph of a village lane lined with a white picket fence on the left and a green tree canopy overhead. A group of about a dozen people walks toward a striped multicolored canopy and a low pink-and-cream building strung with colourful flags. Most men wear white shirts and white trousers. Two central figures wear saffron-orange robes: one tall figure with long dark hair and another shorter figure in orange with a shawl. A man in a white shirt walks ahead in the foreground, and a parked white car and a motorcycle sit at the right edge.2009-01-24December 19 20032003-12-19July 28 20082008-07-28 +1 copiesOutdoor photograph of a devotee line at a roadside procession or darshan. At the right, a man in white dhoti and an orange shawl stands facing the group, holding a lit aarti lamp on a tray. Behind him is a table with a framed portrait of a man with long white hair wearing a white head covering, a red cloth and a flower garland, plus a decorated orange and red umbrella overhead.
