A long row of seated men holds metal aarti plates with lit oil lamps while facing a shrine at left. Along the right, saffron-robed sadhus with white beards and long hair sit cross-legged on a colourful striped mat, wearing orange garlands of marigolds. Some wear red turbans and rudraksha malas. The lamps are placed on silver-toned trays on a long low table. Behind them, a gilded shrine with a deity murti and red-and-gold decorations, and fruit offerings on trays at the far right. Typical of an aarti or puja ceremony.
