Outdoor puja before a golden shrine holding a deity murti decorated with yellow and white flower garlands and a green cloth backdrop. A young man in rust-red dhoti and shawl with rudraksha mala holds a silver kalasha-style vessel and pours liquid while a woman in matching rust-red and gold-bordered sari pours or lights a flame from a small metal lamp. A middle-aged woman in rust-red sari with rudraksha mala stands behind, and men in white shirts and dhotis stand further back. Fruit offerings, scattered rose petals and a red-and-white cloth lie on the floor, with a canopy and trees behind.

A man in orange-brown dhoti and shawl with gold borders, wearing a red-and-white flower garland and a gold necklace, stands with palms pressed in namaskar. A second priest in a rust-orange turban and rudraksha mala pours liquid from a metal vessel into the fire. Two women in orange saris stand in the background, and a few devotees are visible at right near brass lamps. Offering bowls and oil lamps sit near the fire pit. The photo depicts a fire ritual, with a visible priest appearance-cued as a person by the page; the figure with the orange turban and rudraksha mala is the officiant, while the garlanded man is shown in namaskar. Identity is uncertain from appearance alone.2015-10-12A photograph of an evening ritual under a corrugated roof. A man with short hair, bare-chested, wearing an orange-red dhoti and shawl with gold borders and a rudraksha-style mala, holds up a brass lamp (aarti) with a flame toward the upper frame. In front of him a fire pit with burning flames sits on a yellow-edged platform, indicating a homa. Behind him to the left, garlanded deity murtis are decorated with flowers and gold necklaces on a red cloth. In the centre, a decorated shrine with flowers and offerings stands on steps. On the right, a woman with hair in a bun wears an orange sari with gold borders and kneels beside a gilded arch with green cloth and flower garlands. A kalasha-like offering vessel is visible at the front. The man's face and identity are not established from the image; the person is described by role only.2014-11-25January 03 20152015-01-03A woman in orange and maroon draped clothing and a red and gold garland holds a lit aarti lamp with a flame in a silver dish, with a small bell in her other hand. Her hair is loose, with a red kumkum mark on her forehead. Behind her, another person in orange and a person in white ritual attire stand in a warmly lit room with a red curtain and a gold-trimmed seat or throne. The scene suggests an aarti ritual.2013-05-19
