Night photo of a group meditation beneath a large banyan tree with many aerial roots and spreading branches. Around 30 seated people with eyes closed sit on an orange-brown cloth; most wear white kurtas and dhotis, one in a green sweater and blue trousers, another in a light green kurta. Several wear mala beads and identity lanyards. A man in a green shirt stands at the right edge. Dim light from a single source illuminates the foliage and the seated devotees.

Most participants wear white clothing and orange shawls or sashes over their shoulders, and several wear rudraksha malas. They sit cross-legged on mats in rows, facing away from the camera toward the tree's trunk, on bare red-brown earth. A few men at the front have white cloth or tilak marks on their foreheads. No clear individual can be confidently identified as a person from appearance in this image, so the figure is described only by role as a seated participant.
