Each pot is topped with a yellow-orange coconut wrapped in fibre, set among fresh green mango leaves. A teal and gold patterned cloth forms the background, with a terracotta surface beneath the leaf. No people are visible. This appears to be a ritual arrangement of kalasha pots, possibly for a homa or puja setup.2012-07-12Close-up photograph of ritual offerings on a striped woven cloth in the foreground. Each coconut is topped with mango or betel leaves and wrapped in cloth: gold-brown, white with silver ornaments, blue with a green-and-white jewelled necklace, and green with a pearl-and-bead garland. Red roses are tucked among the coconuts, and brass vessels sit behind them. Blurred seated figures in white, turquoise and red clothing are visible at the top edge, with only hands and laps showing. The arrangement suggests puja offerings or a kalasha ritual.2014-01-19 +1 copies
