Outdoor bhumi puja at a ground beside red-painted multi-storey buildings with curved balconies. A bearded man in a rust-brown robe and a long flower garland of red, white and purple blooms pours water from a silver vessel onto the ground. Beside him, a bare-chested priest in white dhoti with a gold-bordered cloth, and another bare-chested man in white dhoti with a sacred thread, stand near brass pots, a coconut, bananas and offering items. A yellow and red fringed ceremonial umbrella shades the scene, and onlookers in colourful saris watch from the background.
