Outdoor bhumi puja at a red-brick ashram building. A man in a rust-orange robe with a long dark beard and loose hair, wearing a multicolour flower garland, stands centre-frame holding a small offering of flowers and fruit near a sapling and red bricks laid in the dirt. Two priests in white dhotis with yellow borders and bare upper bodies pour from a brass pot and attend the ground; a young attendant in saffron stands behind. A large yellow and red fringed umbrella shades the scene. Several people in white and saffron stand in a line in the background, and a man in white with rudraksha malas stands at right holding a clipboard.
