A woman in a leopard-print top and orange skirt bends forward at a grey stone ledge inside a temple, leaning over to make an offering. Behind her a deity murti dressed in gold and red garments sits on an ornate altar, with an orange-robed attendant standing beside it. A metal cage sits to the right and a red painted wall edges the frame.

Inside the shrine, a deity murti is decorated with multicoloured garlands of marigold and other flowers, with a golden crown and brass lamps and vessels set before it. Red cloth drapes frame the open pavilion, and a tree and palms appear beyond. The person's head is covered with a white cloth, and their face is turned downward, so no appearance cues are clearly visible.2009-07-07A three-panel collage of photographs from a temple visit. The left panel shows a long-haired person in saffron-orange robes with rudraksha malas standing barefoot on a paved courtyard beside a blue-and-red bench, with palm trees and a small shrine in the background. The upper right panel shows a deity murti dressed in red and gold garments, adorned with flower garlands and a gold crown, set within a decorated shrine. Below it, a person in orange clothing with a shaved head bends before the shrine, which is decorated with marigold garlands and flowers. The collage is graphic, and no physical people are counted beyond the figures pictured in the panels.
