A dense crowd of seated devotees fills a hall at an event, most dressed in white. Men wear white shirts and white dhotis with rudraksha malas around their necks, and women wear colourful saris in pink, purple, green and yellow. Several men press their palms together in anjali, and some sit with hands folded or chins resting on hands. Children and elderly people are among those seated in the rows.
