A large seated audience of men fills the frame, dressed almost entirely in white shirts and white dhotis, many with white vibhuti or sandalwood-paste tilaks and red kumkum marks on their foreheads. Several have short hair and moustaches, and some wear red or orange threads on their wrists. Faces are turned toward a stage out of view. Nobody in the foreground is clearly identifiable as a person, so no candidate is confirmed. A red flag is visible at the upper centre among the crowd.
