A large seated ritual gathering in a hall, with many people sitting cross-legged on mats in rows. Most wear saffron-orange cloth draped over the shoulders and rudraksha malas, and many have white sacred markings painted across their foreheads and bodies. Several hold small brass vessels, plates and offerings in their hands, and brass lamps stand among them. Some are shaved-headed while others have long hair, and people in white clothing sit further back. Faint orange-clad figures are visible at the upper left.
