A figure in orange robes sits on a golden throne under a multicoloured canopy, with the platform draped in pink cloth and garlanded with yellow, white and orange flower strands. Several men stand waist-deep in the water pushing or steadying the raft: one in an orange robe with a shaved head, others in white shirts and white dhotis, one in an orange shirt. Lights glow along the platform edge and a stepped red wall rises behind.2011-03-03December 22 20112011-12-22March 03 20112011-03-03 +1 copiesNight photograph of a floating orange-and-gold dais on dark water beside a large black stone linga, which is draped with garlands of marigold and white flowers. A person in an orange wrap sits on an ornate gold throne with red cushions, a small brass kalasha-like finial on a canopy above, under a multicoloured fringed umbrella. Garlands wind around the throne and dais edges, and white fluorescent tube lights stand on each side. Near the front, a man in orange wrap kneels at a small offering table with a flower garland, a man in a white shirt stands facing the throne, and two men in yellow-striped vests crouch at the platform edge. Water streams down the linga at upper left.2011-03-03March 03 20112011-03-03 +1 copiesDecember 14 20162016-12-14
