In the foreground a bare-chested priest in an orange-red dhoti kneels on the left, holding a multi-tiered brass lamp with lit flames aloft. Rows of seated young boys and men wear orange clothing, white forehead bands and rudraksha malas, with brass plates and offerings set before them on the floor. Further back, several women in white saris sit near the far side of the hall. A rope barrier with white posts runs along the right. A standing person in white clothing is visible at the far right edge. Nobody in the scene is clearly identifiable as the guru from appearance alone.2013-12-22Photo 11734450October 20 20132013-10-20 +1 copies
