A group of devotees in a barren, hilly landscape beside a row of white SUVs with blue plates, including a Toyota Land Cruiser-style vehicle at left. Many people wear blue or purple padded jackets, hooded parkas and orange scarves, while some wear orange trousers. Several are kneeling or prostrating on the dirt ground in front of the group, and a person in a white jacket stands near the middle. A person holds a pink umbrella over a kneeling figure. An orange flag is planted near the vehicles and the sky is overcast.

A few more people stand further back near the far vehicles. Barren brown hills and dry grassland stretch behind the road. Several people in orange and saffron clothing walk along the gravel and beside the vehicles, some carrying orange flags and bags. A man in a blue jacket and red cap stands at the right edge beside a white SUV. The scene appears to be a high-altitude mountain pilgrimage route under a clear blue sky.2011-08-05
