A man in a maroon-and-gold dhoti and a wide white garland with gold ornaments stands behind the desk, smiling with hands folded at the side. To the left, a man in a white shirt and white dhoti holds a flower tray and gestures in greeting, a young man in a grey shirt stands with palms pressed together, and a bald priest in a saffron-red dhoti with rudraksha mala and sandalwood tilak holds a brass plate. On the right, a woman in a white sari with a maroon blouse stands with palms joined. Several people in front of the desk show ritual honour, which suggests a welcome.2014-06-21June 21 20142014-06-21A photograph taken in a bright interior corridor with glass partitions, recessed ceiling lights and orange-patterned glass panels. In the centre, a smiling man in a rust-brown saffron-toned dhoti and shawl walks forward wearing a long garland of red and white flowers and a gold pendant, with a bare-chested devotee behind him in orange cloth. A man in a white kurta with a rudraksha-style necklace walks to the left, and a blurred man in white is at the right edge. Several monks in orange robes stand in the background. The centre figure shows a person presence through the flower garland, gold pendant and ornate saffron attire, but appearance is not certain enough to confirm.2014-06-21Photo 11735973September 09 20132013-09-09August 06 20132013-08-06A seated figure in an orange-red sari with a red-and-gold blouse, wearing a coral bead necklace, gold earrings and beaded bracelets, reaches out to a golden tortoise-shaped object while a man in a white shirt kneels beside it, hands held together in reverence. Behind them a woman in white with a rudraksha-style mala stands on a red carpet, with other people in white and orange clothing in a hall with a red-curtained wall and framed pictures. This appears to be a darshan or padapuja setting with a golden tortoise base.2014-11-07February 06 20142014-02-06June 28 20142014-06-28 +1 copiesPhoto 11738732November 20 20132013-11-20
