A large seated audience of women fills a hall at a Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam-style satsang. Many wear red or orange saris and blouses with gold borders, white or red tilak marks on their foreheads, and rudraksha malas. Some sit with palms joined in prayer or gesture, while others hold bottles and small brass lamps and plates on the floor. Behind them stand men in white shirts and a few women in white saris.
