A large seated group of orange-robed women and men, many wearing rudraksha malas, sit in rows on a tiled hall floor performing a ritual. Each participant sits before a silver-toned tray with small brass and steel vessels, lamps and a conical brass horn, several holding small items or pouring. Red and orange garments dominate, and a few older white-clad attendees sit among them. Red floor mats and a plastic bag rest nearby, and pillars frame the hall.
