A large yellow fringed umbrella with a lotus-motif finial and green and pink tassels shades an elaborately garlanded deity murti or figure at its centre, wrapped in red, white and purple flowers. Gilded carved wooden railings and a pink-tasselled canopy frame the palanquin, which sits on a wooden platform. A partially visible person with glasses appears at the lower right edge. A building with orange walls is behind.
