Outdoor riverbank scene at the Triveni Sangam with a crowd seated on stone steps and a concrete embankment. In the foreground a woman in an orange-saffron sari sits cross-legged on a mat, with a white-robed man with a shaved head seated beside her. To the right a man in white with a grey beard sits behind a framed printed portrait of a robed figure with long dark hair placed on the ground. A brass or steel vessel sits before the group. Behind them many people in white and colourful clothes sit and stand near the water.

In the foreground, a figure in an orange-saffron robe sits cross-legged on a concrete ledge beside a small kalasha-like vessel, while a seated man in a dark jacket faces a framed portrait on an easel-style stand showing a bearded figure with a garland. Several men in white ritual clothing sit nearby, and others in dark jackets and orange cloth stand behind them. The scene suggests a riverside puja at the confluence of the sacred rivers. The seated saffron-clad figure's appearance is not clearly distinctive enough to confirm identity, and the portrait is a depiction, so identity is uncertain.2006-01-08January 08 20062006-01-08January 08 20062006-01-08January 09 20062006-01-09January 08 20062006-01-08January 08 20062006-01-08January 08 20062006-01-08January 08 20062006-01-08
